Jennifer Bhuiyan, PharmD, MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Queens, NY. She received her PharmD from St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Queens, NY and her MPH from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, MD. She completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY and a PGY2 pharmacy residency in Underserved Care/Global Health at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Bhuiyan currently precepts pharmacy students as a pharmacist in primary care at Project Renewal, a non-profit organization which provides medical and social services to unhoused people in New York City. Dr. Bhuiyan also currently serves as the Chair of the PH SIG. Her research interests include harm reduction, substance use disorder, and social determinants of health in pharmacy education.
