Diane Calinski is the Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Graduate Life Sciences and an Associate Professor at Manchester University. Dr. Calinski earned her Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Michigan in 2013 where she studied cytochrome P450-mediated metabolism. In 2018 she received the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) New Investigator Award for her proposal on synthetic cathinone-mediated inhibition of the cytochrome P450 CYP2D6. More recently, Dr. Calinski has published in the scholarship of teaching and learning, focusing on integration of pharmacogenomics into pharmacy curricula. Dr. Calinski is currently serving as the immediate-past chair for the AACP Biological Sciences Section and is a member of the AACP Council of Faculties department chairs’ taskforce.
