Jennifer Plahovinsak, M.S., M.C.R, D.A.B.T., is the Director of the Master of Science in Translational Pharmacology program and an Assistant Professor-Clinical at The Ohio State University. With a strong background in industry research, she has directed studies to characterize new compounds and played a pivotal role in supporting FDA licensure of compounds used to treat chemical or biological warfare exposures.
In her academic pursuits, Jen focuses on designing and developing technology-enhanced learning environments for science education. Her expertise extends to instructional design, where she creates materials that facilitate effective learning. Additionally, she explores key learner characteristics for graduate students and contributes to curricular development for online toxicology courses. Jen’s commitment to quality extends to strategies for ensuring success in online programs.
