Accreditation and Assessment Coordinator

Lisa Meny, PharmD, is Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Accreditation and Assessment Coordinator at the Ferris State University College of Pharmacy. Before her role in assessment, she served as Experiential Coordinator focusing on community practice. She chairs the College’s Accreditation and Assessment committee while serving on numerous committees, including the Curriculum and Admissions committees. Lisa is a member of the College’s Executive Committee and the University Assessment Committee. She developed a PGY1 community practice residency program with SpartanNash and Ferris State University and has served as the RPD since 2013. Lisa has been an active AACP member in the experiential education section, the assessment SIG, and the academy at large. From 2018-2022, she chaired the EES Strategic Planning Committee where she led a team in developing and implementing a new strategic planning process aligned with the AACP strategic plan. Within EES, she served on the programming committee and is currently serving on the webinar committee. In the assessment SIG, Lisa has served on the strategic planning and scholarship committees, and is currently a member of the programming committee. Lisa has presented nationally and internationally in interprofessional education, curricular assessment, and continuous quality improvement. She has facilitated and presented sessions at AACP on burnout, preceptor development, and APPE readiness. Her interest in the topic is grounded in developing and maintaining work-life balance and organizational effectiveness. In addition she is passionate about spending time with her husband, three daughters, and goldendoodle Sherman.
