Organizational Effectiveness: Redefining Doing More With Less

Learning Objectives:

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Discuss the constructs and context that surround the idea of doing more with less in academia
  • Generate a prioritized list of tasks, functions, and goals for your organization or self filtered through the frameworks of quality, mattering, equity, efficiency, and prioritization
  • Create a concept and action plan that can be presented to leadership and faculty concerning addressing organizational effectiveness issues within their College/School of Pharmacy
If you work in pharmacy education, you’ve attended a meeting where the message is to do more with less. Is it sustainable? Are we sacrificing quality, equity, or inclusion for the sake of efficiency? Is the answer to do less with less or should we redefine what is important? Using a social capital framework, participants will create an organizational effectiveness plan that addresses Quality, Efficiency, Equity, Mattering and Prioritization.
