Ana C. Quiñones-Boex, MS, PhD, FAPhA, serves as Professor of Pharmacy Administration at Midwestern University College of Pharmacy - Downers Grove Campus. She received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from the University of Puerto Rico and her Master of Science and PhD degrees in Pharmacy Administration from Purdue University. During her 20-plus-year academic career, she has taught in the areas of health care delivery, quality improvement, management, and professional development. Her body of scholarship focuses on pharmacy workforce and pharmacy education. She is an active member of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP). Within APhA, she has served on APRS ESAS committees, abstract reviews, as poster judge, section delegate, and was named Fellow in 2019. Her contributions to AACP include work on committees, taskforces, and leadership positions. She currently serves as Secretary of Knowledge Management for AACP’s Council of Sections.
