Sophia Herbert, PharmD is an Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a Community Pharmacy Practice Development Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. Dr. Herbert focuses on the development, implementation, and evaluation of community pharmacy-based patient care services, including the University-wide vaccination and wellness efforts. Dr. Herbert is a leader in technology development, workflow design, and documentation for community pharmacy practice and has a growing national reputation for her leadership in community pharmacy practice transformation, including serving on the ACT Pharmacy Collaborative Task Force. Dr. Herbert teaches in several courses in the PharmD curriculum with a focus on community pharmacy practice, coordinates the Community Leadership and Innovation in Practice Area of Concentration, and serves as the Education Director for the Pitt Vaccination and Health Connection Hub.
