Mohd Shahid, BPharm, MPharm, PhD is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois. He earned his PhD in cardiovascular pharmacology from University of Delhi in 2008 and completed two postdoctoral fellowship in cardiovascular and metabolic medicine in 2012 at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Harvard Medical School in Boston. Dr. Shahid has an active research program primarily focused on the role of immune cells in metabolic and cardiovascular disorders at Rosalind Franklin University. His research has been supported by funding from the National Institute of Health (NIH), the American Heart Association, Harvard University, and Chicago State University.
